FIREWIND's KATSIONIS To Guest On GUS DRAX's Solo Album

August 8, 2009

Keyboardist/guitarist Bob Katsionis (FIREWIND, OUTLOUD) will record all the keyboards for the upcoming album from 21-year-old Greek guitarist Gus Drax (BIOMECHANICAL). Gus says, "Bob already started working on the songs and the results are brilliant!"

As previously reported, Steve Smyth (FORBIDDEN, ex-NEVERMORE, TESTAMENT) will record a guest guitar solo on Drax's upcoming CD. According to Gus, "Steve is one of those guitarists that I was listening since the days I was starting to play guitar and is a HUGE honor for me that he is a part of this album!"

Gus Drax (pictured below) was born on September 21, 1987 in Larissa, Greece. He has been playing guitar since he was 14 years old and is now considered to be one of the most talented Greek guitar players.
